Its funny how LSU fans like to pretend they didn't split the '03 NC with USC.
We don't. News update, LSU won the BCS Title and crystal trophy....USC won the AP trophy that year....you really keep up don't you...with as many posts as you have made since August of this year, thought you would have more facts..

At first, in this thread, your deciding factor was, "most dominant". Then you got owned with the facts and it went to "what ever you think is most dominant." Then you swithed to "most impressive" (ie. Auburn's undefeated seasons). Which btw is a terrible argument. Now your basing things on a list some guy put together almost two years ago
its completely an opinion dude, most dominant doesn't have a specific definition... its an opinion based factor. Some may see most wins as most dominant, other most BCS titles. The guy from that article came up with a formula to try and come up with a list... but there is no right or wrong answer
I never told anyone what to base the "most dominant" factors on. I'm just playing devils advocate. You can make an argument for several teams, which I have, but I never said which one I think is the most dominant or told you what you should base your criteria on
There is no definitive answer to this quesiton, unless you are an LSU fan, in which case anyone who doesn't say LSU is an idiot troll

You are a troll if you say LSU has 1.5 titles. They have 2. USC and LSU each have 1 total from that year, not .5. And LSU's is the one recognized by the accepted BCS.
If LSU and USC both have 1 title from 03, then LSU has 2 from 07 as well.. bringing it to 3 total..
If you want to use Idiot logic that is.

yeah thats why I only gave LSU and USC .5 a title for 2003. makes the numbers work much better than your way

Auburn is the team of the decade

nahhh
but those 2 undefeated seasons are impressive they at least get to be in the discussion
IMO its USC, but I dont take away the 2004 season from them even though the NCAA did

Do they give out half a trophy?

Yes LSU received only half of the NC trophies that were awarded that year
1/2 = .5

Auburn has 2 Undefeated seasons in that time period

USC has 1.5 National Titles

That lsu team was the worst champ in the bcs era
guess how many ranked teams '05 texas and '04 usc beat? 3.

i would say uf or usc

quote:no, it's not like that at all. lsu has two championships as well as winning a boatload of games in the toughest conference. lsu is the best program since 2000. your reasoning assumes boise st is the best. i don't think anyone would agree with that.
That's like saying the Braves weren't the team of the 90's because they only got one.

they backed into 1 of those with 2 losses

split the other with USC

Auburn may not have gotten the hardware, but 2 undefeated seasons is a pretty amazing accomplishment
