I agree with the other poster in that it only matters what Lane himself thinks but if you look at the facts objectively, he isn't assembling enough talent to actually be elite and win a natty.
It's the same conversation with Drinkwitz at Mizzou.

And he's still not landing enough talent so what exactly is going to change?
