Auburn fans do have a lot more coaching search experience than UGA, so maybe you’re right.

Yeah, so different.

Number of full time coaches Since 2000:

Georgia 3
bama 4
LSU 4
Auburn 5 (including new opening)
Tenn 6
FL 7

Georgia has conducted two coaching searches since Microsoft ditched the DOS kernel for consumer versions of Windows. Auburn has had two head coaching searches since Zoom took off.

Kiffin would be the best hire in my opinion or Deion Sanders. Sanders would be a recruiting machine at Auburn!

I can't believe Auburn would do this to such a classy man who is clearly getting things going in the right direction. Harsin deserved better.

He is a good enough recruiter to where he can turn auburn around like Hueple has Tennessee. Maybe not contending for playoffs in 2nd year but most definitely 8 wins and competing in his 2nd year, which is far better than Auburn is doing now. You don’t have to be a top notch coach if you have the best players. It’s easy to coach top talent or 10 straight #1 recruiting classes. But how good is a coach that can turn 2* and 3*’s into 1st and 2nd round draft picks like Heupel without having top talent yet?
