That never happened. It was a hoax. Some country boys took that cricket bait and ran up under a log with it though.

Damn.

Y’all still got that travel warning for minorities in your state?

Naw, the "Lester Maddox" law straightened that all out.

Lester Maddox. That’s a real blast from the past. You’re old if you remember him.
FYI ole Lester turned out to be a decent governor. He treated everyone regardless of race fairly once he got into office. He had a day each week when Georgia citizens could show up at his office and talk to him about their needs. And he actually listened. He did a lot to improve education and health care in the state for everyone.
Now back to that travel warning. You threw up a distraction and never answered my question. Is it still in effect?

SEC pride is completely overrated and I think it was a big thing when the SEC began it’s dominance around 2006, but I think most fans of SEC schools don’t look at it like that anymore. I think most fans look at what situation helps THEIR school the most, not the conference

Self interested decision making came along well before then.

Everyone wants their team to win. But there is still conference pride too. The chants of SEC SEC ringing out when an SEC school wins are proof of that. Of course the addition of Misery and ATM have diminished that “family” feeling considerably. Not many appreciated having these programs shoved down our throats. And I’m afraid things aren’t going to improve once UT and Okla join. If only the SEC big shots could go back and make better decisions.

Your NAACP issued a travel advisory back in 2017, you know 5 years ago. So yes, in all their glorious power the NAACP still has an advisory in place for Missouri.

Maybe they should go check out Vine City?

Feel Better ?

Like my cousin Lee Harvey Oswald would have said, your silliness was a wide miss.

My NAACP? It’s hardly mine anymore than it’s yours. I do thank them for letting everyone know about dangerous areas. I’m a bit surprised that the SEC allowed out of state programs to travel there given the warning though.
Vine City? I grew up in Atlanta and have traveled a good bit in my lifetime and I’ve seen far worse places than Vine City. Much worse. Some of them in your state. Anyone who would claim a murderer of a US president as a relative - whether it’s true or not - and do so with apparent pride really is missing something inside

As a hopeful Alabama fan, I should pull for Georgia at the moment, but if Missouri pulls off the upset, I won’t be sad.

Ever since that white professor woman screamed at the white college kids for not supporting BLM, my feeling is you cocksuckers can leave the conference.
