he ruined that girl she now has his sweat all over her.

That girl is now married to TN state senator Tim Burchett, who is running for Knoxville mayor in 2010. BTW, how is Pearl> T. Johnson laughable? I'd say if you asked non LSU or Vol fans, 9 out of 10 would say Pearl. I even read a thread about it on CatsPause and most had Pearl ahead of Johnson, and they hate Pearl.

I would venture to say all the teams in the SEC tourney in baseball draw more than women's basketball.
You'd be wrong.

once again thats bc you can fit more people into a basketball arena. Still doesn't make it a real sport

I HIGHLY doubt that. How many Women's Bball teams average over 5k a game???? 7k???
Twice as many as baseball...
Look it up..17 schools averaged over 5,000 per game in womens bball..what about baseball?
9 womens Bball teams averaged over 7,000...what about baseball?

Just stating the facts...
I think women's basketball is boring as shite. I'd never attend, but at MOST schools baseball is NOT one of the top 3 sports.

are you really saying that womens basketball is a sport?
come on i thought uga fans were smart

Yes..a boring as shite, who gives a crap sport..but one that outdraws college baseball by a good bit.
I'd rather go see our womens Gymnastics team than watch Women's bball.

As I said, just give me some evidence that Johnson is a better all around coach than Pearl.
Here are the criteria I use to judge head coaches (each category out of five):
Bench Coach Ability- 3. Bruce has lost a few games on the bench but has also won a few, he is average.
Game Planning Ability- 4. Bruce usually has a good scout on the other team and his teams usually execute. (Ex. Bruce was 4-1 vs. "The '04s" @ UF. He also doesn't usually lose to teams he shouldn't.
Managing a Program- 4. He has done a good job maintaing programs, he's had 17 straight 20 win seasons and 3 Sweet 16s plus a D2 Nat'l Title so he has worked his way up. He has also shown he's not afraid to kick players off if they're not behaving off the court. However, he could be a bit better in this area.
Recruiting Ability- 4. He landed a Top 10 class in his first year in Knoxville, followed by a Top 5 class in 2008 that included UT's first McDs AA in 10 years (Hopson). In 2009 they had 1 scholarship (replacing a reserve PF) and used it on a Top 50 player (PF Kenny Hall). The 2010 class is ranked No.4 by some services and they fill their biggest void at PG by getting the nation's # 2 PG in Josh Selby.
Promoting a Program-5. A PR genius Pearl improved the Vols attendance by 8 K plus per game. He has restored the interest in a sagging UT program. I could go on and on about this aspect of his coaching, but it is by far his strongest trait.
I can't judge Trent but here's how I'd judge Bruce. Would an LSU fan please honestly answer this and give reasons.

Dawgorama is making the exact same argument I was. I'm no real fan of women's bball. Don't go to the games even though I can get free seats. But the facts are that it's a bigger deal than baseball
and I'd love to see how many SEC baseball games are sold out. Because if almost all of them aren't then your "women's bball draws more cuz of bigger arenas" argument is BS.
i really doubt a regular season baseball game would ever draw over 20k like several women's bball games have here.
