False. If it comes down to the last couple spots they will definitely look at how the team is playing.

Does everyone who beat 2 win Florida State have a top ten win because they were ranked in the top ten at the beginning of the season?
If falling out of the Top 25 doesn't matter, why is anyone even upset Bama is in the CFP? They should be the 1 seed, they were ranked 1st at one point after all.

St Johns won 6 straight games before barely losing to UConn last year and didn't make the tournament.
Virginia on the other hand finished the year losing 5 of 9 and........did make the tournament.
You are just incorrect. Which is starting to feel like a theme.

It's weird this year. For most 4-team CFP years it didn't matter much who got in as #4 because they didn't have a chance to win it all.
This year you have to wonder if either Bama, OM, or SC could win it all if they are playing at their best.
I don't think any of the current top teams like Oregon, Texas, Penn State, and ND are obviously better than several others below them.

Dart and milroe were healthy all season
Sellers is healthy now was hurt during their losses. That should be factored in.
Eye test down the stretch.
USC is clearly playing the best at the most important time.

So basically you just want to count every game AFTER you lost to Alabama.
Because the day after you lost to Alabama, you somehow became the better team.

Conveniently took out the 2 pick sixes and a 50 yard phantom OP penalty that would of iced the game. Once again go watch it because you don't know crap.
