Yes Freeze has won 6 games when they weren't suppose to win but 3 or 4. But who has he beat this year? The other coaches mentioned have won against some top notch opponents.

Franklin, and here's why.
11-1 is a great season, but still being #2 in division is about what people expected from Muschamp. But, after long-dicking a highly ranked FSU, I still don't know if he'll be that high on the list.
I also don't think you give Sumlin the credit at A&M, I think that's JFF. It's like giving Chizik credit for Auburn when Cam was doing all the work.
Freeze is meeting expectations, not exceeding them.
Franklin gets my vote for #1, if the category is strictly "Head Coach Over Performing Vs Expectations"

Most people predicted Ole Miss to go 0-8 in the SEC again this year. I say he exceeded the expectation.
Ole Miss fans said we would have a shitty year and that next year he should become bowl eligible. I predicted a 3-9 season this year.
