I had really bad shin splints when I started playing basketball 3 days a week, back 25 years ago. You could touch my shins and I would be in agony. The membrane pulls away from the bone and gets inflamed.
Take a lot of ibuprofen and play through it. Eventually it goes away, believe it or not. Icing it helps too.

Man the first few pages of this thread were awesome. Hijackers should be banned.

I know y'all got screwed out of your chance at a NC but your argument is ridiculous IMO. Your basically saying that you're fine with winning 6 straight but seeing us win the NC instead of y'all.

Btw running through shin splints can actually worsen the pain and injury
