Peterson is not just "good", he's exceptional. he is one of he top D players in the country. he will be - without question - the top D player in SEC next year.

hes locked down the best WR in the SEC - AJ Green - and JJ (one of the top wr in SEC).

Uh, yes, they all are. He has a lot to learn but he has a lot of raw talent. As for the eye black stuff, once again, these are kids and it is just the excitement of playing in a big game. Every teams player at one time holds his finger in the air and says we are #1, even though there is only one team that really is.
