For sure. That team was just plain nasty.

'08 Florida lost to OLE MISS. Everyone forgets this

And yet they were still the best team out of those. Great teams lose games sometimes, doesn't effect how good of a team they are.
The question isn't "Which team had the best season?"

Explain why.

2009 Bama
2010 Auburn
(The following teams can join the discussion when they win ALL of their games in a season, an SECCG, *and* a BCSCG...)
2011 Bama (lost to #1 LSU at home)
2006 Florida (lost to #11 Auburn at Auburn)
2008 Florida (lost to unranked Ole Miss at home)
2007 LSU (lost two games, so just get the frick out of here)

Well to say that the 07 team was the worst is wrong. They at least won their divison and conference title. Not every team on the list can say that.

The correct list is:
09 bama
10 auburn
08 Florida
11 bama
06 Florida
07 lsu
Why would you put this team:
quote:
08 Florida
Who lost to unranked Ole Miss at home above this team:
quote:
11 bama
Who lost to a #1 ranked team at home or this team:
quote:
06 Florida
Who lost to an #11th ranked team on the road?

Bama 2009
Bama 2011
UF 2008
UF 2006

2010 Auburn faced a nastier schedule by far than 2008 Florida and yet somehow was able to win ALL their games and not "lose... sometimes".

In the nfl, I agree. Great college teams win ALL their games though. Right below them are the good teams who win it all but lose a game or two along the way.
As for the question why 08 florida is above 11 bama, it's just my opinion. Don't really have anything to back it up, it's just my view on it.

I'm late to this party, but my list would go:
-11 bama
-10 Auburn (the ONLY reason they aren't #1 is because of their awful secondary. I don't think 11 bama would've "stopped" Cam, but they seemed to be more complete top to bottom)
-08 florida/09 bama tie
-06 florida
-07 lsu
-11 bama

Best overall was the 08 gators but none would be able to stop Cam. '10 AU would beat all of them.

2010 Auburn (Beat Alabama, with a team just as good if not better than the 2 years they were sandwiched inbetween)
2009 Alabama (Undefeated better than 1 loss)
2011 Alabama (Sick defense, not the best offense)
2008 Florida (Tie with 2011 Bama, great offense and defense)
2007 LSU (great team, but 2 losses)
2006 Florida (just because)
2009 Alabama (Undefeated better than 1 loss)
2011 Alabama (Sick defense, not the best offense)
