How much staff does he need in place to recruit?

If he would have gotten some coaches with more Texas ties that party would have already started.

I mean we are talking about the guy who bitched about the SEC recruiting style. He needs to overcome that stigma immediately.

Is his plan to wait until the towel boys are all hired to pull in some four stars for this class?

then what exactly is so appealing about going to Arkansas to recruits?

Oh I don't know, money, facilities, commitment to football, success of our head coach, etc.

Little things like that

Until one of yall gives a good reason how Mr. "Don’t want to be like the SEC—in any way, shape or form" is going to pull in top 15 classes I will keep bringing it up.

Get ready for a long offseason, because the only reason I see is called delusional hope.

by the way this statement alone sounds like you're talking about the SEC in general. What makes Arkansas so special?

I'll answer. Being in the SEC.

Simple they go balls deep in any coach selected to go to their school. While the hire is more like leach to tubbs then shula to Saban. While Arky will become Diet Bama Lite. I mean this guy got stomped by TCU in a bowl game. How do you expect him to keep a close game with anyone in the West? Good luck on your next coach hire in 5 years maybe you can get someone who'll make you matter again.

so, I want to make sure that I'm clear on this. You honestly think that Texas A&M joining the SEC will have little to no bearing on their recruiting?

so being in the SEC is no different to a recruit than any other BCS conference?

And if the SEC is such a non factor in recruiting, then what exactly is so appealing about going to Arkansas to recruits?

I guess Dale doesn't want to play goalie for Arky anymore. He just took off his mask and went home.
