A National Championship is easier under the current system than a playoff. I don not see Auburn winning a NC under a playoff system but in the BCS system, go undefeated and you can get in and only have to win one game. I guess that is why people are wanting a playoff as it would be more reflective of a true champion.

I think you're just upset because you, and most other LSU fans, obsess over Alabama, and we don't reciprocate the attention. Sorry, but we just don't care about being your rival. I promise it's nothing personal.

Ah,the biggest loser joined the thread. Yea, all LSU fans are obsessed with Alabama. Why I guess every fan base is.

I think it's pretty interesting that for the past 21 years, Alabama and Auburn have gone 10-11. 7 of their 11 wins came when Alabama was under heavy sanctions that were as strict as any had been since SMU.

Call it what you will, but I think that's pretty pitiful on the part of Auburn. Seems like with all of the dominance they boast, they would have won more.

Between 1959 and 1985, Auburn won 6 times.

And this is supposed to prove that you aren't obsessed with Auburn?

Six games, actually. And you're fortunate it's that close - if Auburn (or should I say API?) Had had the balls to play Bama in the first half of the 20th century (you know, when Bama was posting undefeated seasons and going to Rose Bowls), there would be a much wider margin.

As far as national titles go, Alabama has - even by the most conservative estimates - 8x as many as Auburn.

And please find me a national title that Alabama claims for a team with 4 losses. Don't post again until you do.

Who said anything about being obsessed? Was just reading some old posts and put them here. You've got a serious case of A.D.D.

I would say Auburn. They sing "rammer jammer yellowhammer go to hell Alabama" when they're not even playing Alabama.

I'm still confused as to why that's confusing. Bear with me here... I've had a long day and although I have dark hair, I can be blond sometimes.

ETA: Nevermind, there's probably a joke somewhere and I done RUINED it.

Actually I don't know. Like most of Alabama's success I wasn't alive to see it.

This could be Auburn's first NC ever. Going by their high standards in counting NC's, they have zero, since the one in 57 isn't legit, afterall, they were banned from post season play.

Having a good memory, or using a search function on a message board doesn't equal obsession.

Can you come back with another insult to try to gain superiority that isn't limp with closed minded assumption?
