There was like one thread about that and contained the usual idiot Alabama fans who think that kind of shite matters.
AU fans are the most sensitive bunch as a whole and have NO sense of humor about themselves or their team AT ALL.
Especially these new idiots who joined in November.
I wish there was a way to flashback to a year ago this time and look at all the Alabama and Texas thread started by AU fans.
And there is literally no way anyone can argue that, for the average fan of each, the default trash talk is as follows-
ALABAMA - "13 national championships, bitch."
AUBURN - "We beat Alabama 6 in a row and 7 of the last 9 and OWN since Bear died."
Now, which school measures success by national championships and which school measures success by beating the other school?
AU fans are the most sensitive bunch as a whole and have NO sense of humor about themselves or their team AT ALL.

I know it hurts to keep losing to AU, but just keep telling yourself that AU fans are the only ones obsessed with the other in this rivalry. I'm sure it will make you feel better.

I say this over and over... Auburn is like ants at my picnic. I obsess over them if they are crawling all over my legs, but if I can get a can of Raid, I don't really think about them until they come back.

It sucks not playing for the NC.
And my team losing any football game doesn't "hurt". Sure, I get bummed by it but anyone that wraps that much self worth in a football game that it affects them psychologically is a bit sad.
And please refute what I said about each fanbase's default smack talk. You can't - hell you said as much in this thread.

It's not like Auburn's streak of the past decade rivals anything Alabama has done over the past 10 decades.
And it's not like beating Alabama over the past decade or two has brought Auburn more SEC championships or National Championships. I don't really understand the issue, to be honest.

And MattP, I'd point out the all-time Iron Bowl head-to-head, number of national titles for each school, number of SEC Championships for each school, bowl wins for each, 10-win seasons for each, etc., etc., but what's the point? You're an Auburn fan, so it's all Greek to you. Instead I think I'll send you a big box of Depends for Christmas. What's your address and lot number?
