SO you think it is totally okay to send a letter to your team midseason and run away?

you do know that after Petrino accepted the Arkansas job, Blank would not let him back in the building to see the team, hence the letter you so adore to flame with.

Petrino was just taking a better job. Can't blame the guy.

Oh yeah the University of Arkansas is a better job than the Atlanta Falcons

Probably because he was quitting midseason. I wouldn't let him in the building either.

Meyer for coming to a decision where he felt he couldn't do anything anymore

Petrino realized he made a huge mistake going to the NFL. The BS around the Falcons at the time just made it easier for him to leave.

This thread's funny coming from a fanbase that has just as big of a coward on their own staff. Albeit I would bet the majority of LSU fans don't realize Gonzalez left in the middle of the night with just a post it note announcing his change.

Considering most of the fan base has no idea what Gonzales actually does, he really is irrelevant to the discussion.

Like I said above but in some ways his departure was almost worse than Petrino's. Petrino at least told his boss in person where as Gonzalez just left a post it note for Meyer saying he was out.

Petrino, and it's not even close, because he called Blanks bluff and shoved it up his arse after Blank backtracked after he and already told Petino to go ahead and pursue the Arkansas job. Poor little Arthur, he and the Falcons couldn’t take another PR hit with Petrino leaving on the heels of the dog killer getting convicted. Boo fricking hoo.

Ignorant posters like you really don't want to educate themselves but if you ever decide you want to know the real story behind Petrino's hiring at Arkansas listen to the audio from the link below.

That really turned out shitty for Arkansas, didn't it?

Hell, the Hogs job is a better job than the Falcons job anyway.

Can we all just agree that coaches are all pretty shitty? I don't mind coaches quitting in the NFL so much because the players are professionals and they are probably going to see a few coaches. College sports are different though. You go to a school because of the coach and the system. Kiffin at TN is a good example of a shitty move.

That's one decision you will never have to make because McDonald's fry cooks don't get keys to the building.
