Auburn is too damn small. It's like a little hick town.

BR is a real city now and it has slums just as it has nice areas. There's lot to do here now outside of LSU. Downtown is busy and has Live After 5, festivals, parades, and serious nightlife. BREC has some nice parks (Mt. Bikes and dog parks). All of this wasn't here when I was at LSU.
But no, BR is not as nice as Nashville.

BR has casinos so they have a definite advantage there. But now that I'm not in college, I wouldn't live in BR or Ttown. And anyone who thinks BR>NOLA is a fricking idiot.

there's really no drawback of living in BR.

I would rather live in BR than NOLA honestly. Im not trying to say there is more to do in BR, i just feel more comfortable here then there.

BR is basically just a bigger Tuscaloosa. If you think one sucks then you think they both suck. I for one think Tuscaloosa is pretty fun.
I don't think they're anything alike but I have fun in Tuscaloosa. It's my favorite away game.

I agree. If you want to go to New Orleans it's an easy drive. But I'd much rather live in or near Baton Rouge.

NO has Harrah's. Only land-based casino in LA that I'm aware of.

i was just trying to get lee to admit he hates tuscaloosa. but one similarity is downtown scene plus strip scene near college. both cities have both.

I'd say BR is probably most similar to Columbia even tho BR is bigger in terms of population.

I don't hate it. It was great when I lived there for college. But right now, I wouldn't consider living there.

all of the SEC towns have something or some part going for them. I'd move to Nashville or Lexington in a minute. May not be 'college towns',but its been a while since I was in college.

i loved living in new orleans. living right by audubon park, the restaurants, the night life, hornets games, the fly, etc. it was awesome. it's definitely not for everybody though

The only way I could see BR>NOLA is if you're trying to start a family. But even then, personally I'd still go with NOLA.

Easy...Auburn.
I would rather live in tuscaloosa than Baton Rouge.
