That was the last season that neither AU nor Bama had a legitimate shot at the NC after Championship Week.
Yeah, I know it was mostly Bama, but still a pretty remarkable streak.

No disrespect to the programs, but it won't be a truly fun year until we have one without Bama, Oklahoma and Clemson in it. Their yearly participation is getting old.

Translation: We suck, we are really a 2nd tier team but the media keeps pumping us up. So instead of holding the program responsible when it comes to not getting over the hump. Lets dumb everything down so we have a better shot.
