I don't see any position that LSU has any real advantage over Ole Miss.

Ole Miss can’t lose!

Never have seen vegas give a final score ever. They are interested in the point differential. They are looking for the push though.

I hope not, but given who Ole Miss has played it is really tough to make that determination. Kentucky was a great win, but it seemed like that it took a lot of luck to pull it off at home.

No, every year teams like Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, etc are top 10 after playing literally no one, as they don’t have an SEC gauntlet to get through and usually play one team with a pulse before bowl season.

Not really, by this time those teams have typically played a good non-conf team and at least one or two decent teams. This Ole Miss team has not faced any gauntlet at all, and has played a REALLY light non-conference slate. Kentucky was the only decent team and that game OM seemed to get REALLY lucky to beat at home. Personally I hope I am wrong. But to the OP's point, there is a reason #7 is not favored against an unranked team.

Well if Vegas rigs games you certainly don’t want to be the heavy betting favorite
