When reality set in...

is when Kellum Clark hit the 3-run HR in the 7th inning. That was my "Oh shite!" moment. That it was actually going to happen. To win it all.
I've only ever experienced that once in my life back on FEB 7, 2010 in Lucy's Bar in Uptown NOLA while watching Super Bowl 44 when Tracey Porter intercepted Peyton Manning and took it back for the TD. Reality sets in that your team you've been cheering for your entire life FINALLY breaks through and wins it all. I'm a big Saints fan as well making two games a year - one home and one away....so to have a Championship experience with both teams waiting for so long is surreal feeling.
Even though State just went up 6-0 vs Vandy in the Top 7, as a State and Saints fan...you never feel comfortable with any kind of lead.
It's cool to see the other fan bases here giving the Bulldog Baseball fans kudos. Lord knows we feel like we deserve it right now. They finally broke through and won it all in Omaha.

Yep. At that point I told my wife I think we're going to win this. Teared up and got chills.
