When did catchers start wearing earpieces?

And what type of info is coming through?

Also, what are the pitchers wearing on their wrists and what are they for?

Wristbands are pitch calls. Tells them what to throw and where.

Been wearing earpieces for years. They whisper sweet things to them

Catcher wear a wrist thingy too then?

I guess if a qb can get plays, then a pitcher can get pitch calls.

Don't like it much though. Pitcher and catcher should work together on pitch calls. Yeah, I'm impartial. Was a catcher for many, many years back in the day from little leaguenl through Dixie League, Babe Ruth, and high school. Pitched too. Pitching was more fun.
