I'm eventually wanting to make it to every SEC campus for a football game. Your team's campus aside, what's been your favorite one to visit and why? Nearby bars, tailgating, pregame festivities, gameday atmosphere....all of it can be part of your reason.

First time poster. I've been lurking for a couple of months so I've learned a couple of things:
1. I'll go frick myself now.
2. Everybody else wishes they had Battle at Bristol rings.

I think the board's unanimous decision will be Starkville. I don't see any debating that either.

aTm's campus is the worst, followed closely by Tennessee's. LSU's is nice.

If it were not for grown arse men barking at me I would rank a trip to Athens at or near the top. Other than Georgia I have always had a good time in Knoxville.

That old offseason thread about nicest campuses in the SEC is due for an update.

I've been to all of the campuses, and I'd say the top four are Alabama, LSU, UGA, and Ole MIss.

Bottom four IMO are ATM, UT, UK, and USC...only because USC doesn't really have much of a campus. What they do have is pretty good.

Everyone else is in between.

UGA and Tuscaloosa for me. UGA because of Athens bar scene. Tuscaloosa because I've visited there the most and have had a good time every time. I always party in the quad on game day and go to lake Nicol the day before or after.
