This the time of the year where the Gamecock fans come out in droves flooding the message boards with eternal optimism as "next year" arrives. They strut around like peacocks chanting their "SEC SEC" mantra, talk smack pointed mainly at their daddy's in Clemson but throw a little shade around the league.

After the month of September is over and they realize the next season is a repeat of the previous disappointing season they change their tone and start living the rest of their season vicariously through the top SEC teams to somehow validate their sorry program.

All they'll have left is to piss and moan on their own message board and hoping to make some insignificant bowl and of course hoping somehow Clemson doesn't blast them off the field yet again.

That's what it's like for a Gamecock fan.

you clearly havent been around the rant long....

To see your bitter rival rise from your peer to the pinnacle of football success? Arkansas has no rivals that equal the hate you guys have for Clemson and lucky for us, our biggest rivals are a bunch of Trannie cowboys and gay farmers so we never have to worry about them winning a championship. How bad does it suck to live Around Clemson fans now?
Football has ebbs and tides. I am sure things will turn again. Their base was ready to run Dabo off when he lost 5 in a row to us. It's going better for us now and it looks like clemsux is stuck in the ACC. I heard Dobbs from CBS and he said someone ran the numbers and with the GOR and the legal costs it would take $500 million for a team to get out of the ACC now. That's not happening so we'll wait for the kids who want SEC type competition to gravitate to South Carolina. They had a facilities advantage and they were hiring these recruits parents (not breaking NCAA rules) in the area to further that advantage. The NIL will even that out in no time and our facilities match theirs now.

This insanity is from Tigernet at the end of 2019 before the LSU vs. Clemson title game. I'm linking the original thread from Tiger Rant. Clemson people truly believe this. I know we joke about Aggy and Auburn being cults, but these lunatics would drink the Jim Jones kool aid if Dabo told them to.

Tiger Rant thread
Wow...kids are being killed every day in this country and god is helping them win football games....wow...insanity at best.
