Correct me if I am wrong but Tulane is a G5 school and not in the SEC.

Who gives a shite if Tulane is G5? They're having one of their better seasons (just like Ole Miss) and they are on the verge of making the playoffs (just like Ole Miss), and they might lose their coach before the playoffs even start (just like Ole Miss).

Now we have Rece Davis basically pushing Yurachek to ding Ole Miss and we've already fallen behind two teams in the CFP poll because of the circus. Why the frick is Rece fricking Davis out to get us?

This is the part that is getting interesting and more frustrating. Starting to look like collusion with national media and Sexton's CAA with this messaging to force Ole Miss to allow him to finish. Anyone saying Lane should coach the playoffs and Ole Miss should take a hit in the CFP if he doesn't are just licking that CAA taint.

Kiffin is having a good year, and hes gonna make bank moving to someplace new.

But one decent year does not make a good coach.

He will end up disappointing wherever he goes and be fired in 3-4 years.

It's still fricked up how it's gone down even if he does stay, though.
I don't think he can stay now, even if he wanted to. It looks like to me that Ole Miss has positioned itself to be able to fire Kiffin with cause.
I hope LSU doesn't end up with him. He's a narcissistic POS.

UM has had 5 x 10 win seasons since 1960 before Lane got there. They have had 4 x 10+ wins under him.

I'd say that is pretty good

Agreed. I don't get the whole idea of penalizing a team for a highly uncertain head coaching situation in a potential playoff selection scenario.

It would be one thing if a team's star quarterback got hurt and knocked out of an upcoming playoff (ala 2023 Florida State) but a head coaching situation while disruptive doesn't change the effectiveness of a team's roster that did enough during the season to deserve a playoff spot.

Ole Miss is securely in the playoff barring them s###ing the bed and losing the Egg Bowl. That part is a given but I could see Lane's situation costing Ole Miss a home playoff game which would be BS in my opinion

Sumrall has been open with the process. His team knows he is gone. He isn’t stringing them along to the point they hate him

Thank you for further proving to everyone just how much of an idiot you are. It honestly wasn't necessary, though.

And they're trying to do the exact same thing to Tulane...........which is actually a delightful little bit for LSU. The greenies have been super arrogant over the last few years, and for Ole Miss to do to them what we're doing to Ole Miss is just hilarious.
