May be favored hypothetically but ...

Barely beat Ole Miss by 6.
Barely beat Texas by 1.
Barely beat A&M the worst SEC team.

Lost to LSU who we beat by 20.
Lost to UT who we beat by 13.

Michigan, TCU and Ohio State won their games and deserve entry. No need to defend Georgia's playoff invitation.

So, why should Alabama get the honor of playing any of these teams in this playoff? I'm willing to listen.

Saban has said, repeatedly over the years, that he never deals in hypotheticals. Yet, this year, this was one of his excuses i.e. bama would be favored over all 4 teams. Little Nicky turning into a common hypocrite as he ages.

Saban has no problems moving the goalposts. Of course neither do any other desperate people.

None of this really matters when setting a Bama line. As long as their record is relatively strong against the field then public perception takes precedent because people bet Alabama blindly.

Would Bama beat any of them? All of them? If you answer yes, what performance this pas year leads you to that concludes

That's a great point?
