worst sports scandal in decades

You’re being too generous. That was worst sports scandal of all time. Hell, maybe of any scandal.

As recruiting coordinator? Not much. As head coach? The NCAA would have to say "it's either this or The Death Penalty".

I would hire him right now. He would be a great D-line coach

Alabama hired its Oregeron. In 2003.
No, I'd say we did that in '97. Because Francine a was bed-wetting sissy man and Mal Moore didn't do a background check on Mike Price, we didn't have a lot of options and Shula was the best choice at the time.

The 2003 situation wasn't like we fired a proven, conference and national championship winning head coach with zero character issues simply because we were not satisfied with his offensive schemes and inability to beat our own former head coach at least once every three years; and did that without having a successor hanging in the wings only to find out that the entire college coaching world was so taken aback by our actions that we had to hire a guy who'd been let go as HC by two other programs.

We tried to warn you guys... I guess for OM to hire him again, he would have to be the last coach left after all Highschool and middle school coaches in the US have turned down the job due to the NCAA not allowing us to win a game for the next 100 years.
