Not counting Missouri and A&M, there are only two SEC teams that Mississippi State has not beaten in this millennium: South Caronlia and LSU. LSU has won 13 straight games vs. MSU. USCe has one seven in a row even though they don't play yearly anymore, so USCe can share in some of the glory.
So yea, losing to MSU would be a big deal to LSU, but they are better these days so it wouldn't be the worst lost I guess
Fittingly MSU last beat both of us in 1999, so at least there's that.
