Not by a 65 yr old who wants to run a 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense.

Agreed. Hope he has better plans than 7 offensive lineman and a RB on RB dives. If he doesn't, he's gonna get destroyed quickly. But you know that....

I’m sure they told him he has to run a modern offense before they hired him, but I’m also sure he’s not comfortable with the current style of play in the Big 12.

I can see why they hired him. He’s a name. It gives them at least some modicum of legitimacy, but as far as on the field success goes...I HIGHLY doubt it.

Maybe Les has had an epiphany? I dunno. Glad he's back in the BIG XII. He was a BIG XII personality in the first place. Press conferences just got a whole lot interesting. LOL!!!

I think a team running a more traditional style and playing defense, given the right personnel, could do well in the Little XII. The trouble is getting the right personnel, of course, especially at Kansas. A team that controls the ball, owns time of possession, and gets negative plays and turnovers on defense would eat that conference alive.

I couldn't agree more... wouldn't it be funny if Bama rotated into different conferences every other year or so...

As an LSU fan, I wouldn't be mad at all. I have nothing but respect for Les as a man and for everything he did while at LSU. I hope he succeeds over there.

It's a shame there's so many dumbass posters on the rant that hate Les. I look at the rant kind of like I look at Twitter. It's a bunch of functioning retards who have to find something to hate on to try and make their miserable life more satisfying.

True L8U fans realize what a great coach les was. He just couldn't hold a candle to coach 0.

Was talking about this with a friend yesterday, said id be crazy if Les were to hire an Airraid guy to run his offense. Someone young like a Graham Harrell who would come in and throw it all over the yard, put up 40 a game.

That’s what he would have to do to be successful in that league. Otherwise, you’d have to have a 100% lockdown defense, and I don’t believe ku can recruit those kinds of athletes to lowrents even if Jesus Christ was the head coach.

Oh, and frick ku in the terrorist arse with a bag of aids dix.
