It doesnt look boring (I think whoever said that was just trying to rile people up) but it does seem not worth it. I'm sure trying to walk, piss, and get a beer are next to impossible.

It is crowded, but how does that look "boring" to the other nega-oxford posters? Again, it was all based on a cold plate of fries

He just really sounds like a bitchy person. He hates Oxford yet his only reason given was cold fries.

And he didn't even go out at night. Our nightlife is one of our biggest pluses.

Apparently not to the thousands in that picture alone

It can be tough. I usually try to post up somewhere in the afternoon and get a table at a bar. Always have someone at that table and you can come and go as you please, taking turns holding the table down. Crowds are not one of my favorite things, but this weekend is one of my favorites all year

If you dont know what youre doing it can be miserable. If you have baseball tickets you can really avoid crazy crowds. I'd hit the square friday night after the baseball game, it will be packed, but not like that pic. Head back to the square at noon and hang around till a couple hours till game starts and head over to Swayze. After the game the square will be as packed as that pic indicates, but the bands stop playing at 10p so the crowds will disperse to the bars and once you find a bar that you like i'd stay there for awhile

I was at the double decker with Buddy Guy a few years ago. If you weren't real close to the stage you could move around pretty good with a cooler and everything.

Yeah, unless it's someone really good playing, it won't be nearly as packed as that picture looks

good to hear? also what is the rule on coolers behind the right field fence? Last time we went it was cool but from what i understand its different now. Also we went like 8 years ago and the cops made up pour out two cases of beer and a handle of beam in front of all the ole miss fans that were sitting there drinking themselves. All of my Ole Miss buddies got a kick out of that. When my buddy asked the cop if he wanted us to pour the coke out as well that almost landed him in the back of the cop car. whew..

pretty embarassing plus we had to leave the game and go buy more beer.

If you are 28, you probably don't want to sit in right field. Try and go to left field, but get there REALLY early. Coolers are fine

Sorry about our cops

Drink out of a plastic cup. They'll check your coolers for glass. They may or may not give you the chance to poor that into another container, but it's just as well that you not bring them at all. My suggestion on if you want liquor, pre-pour you a 2 liter Jack/Capt./ect & Coke.....or whatever else you want.

Or just poor your liquor in a plastic container.
