Well, you could go cow tipping or you could throw things off the bridge or go to the livestock auction and cruise the 4-H babes.

Get here early and go eat at The Little Dooey. It's between the cotton district and downtown. Less than a mile from campus give or take. After that it will probably be about time to head to the junction. After you leave there it will be time for some dinner. Go to halfway house. It is just past little dooeys. Great food and cheap drinks. After dinner go to the cotton district. There are 5 bars within about a 100 yard radius. Stay away from downtown. It's about half as fun as it used to be since Mugshots shut down.

Food:
Restaurant Tyler
The Veranda
Harveys
Anthony's (West Point)
Simple food/burgers/bbq:
Mugshots
Brian Michaels
Pettys
Lil Dooeys
Daves
Old Venice
Bars:
Daves (best for music/pizza)
Bin 612- Best afternoon bar and in the Cotton District)
Halfway House- Best beer selection and several TVs
Zorbas- above Restaurant Tyler
Coffee: Make sure to try some strangebrew blueberry cobbler coffee. It is awesome.
Tailgating:
Set up a tent on the outskirts of the junction. If you need a tailgating spot rec, let me know. I hope the game is not at 11 am. The early morning kickoffs kill gameday atmospheres everywhere.
If you need free parking advice, let me know. Enjoy your trip.

Wrong. Best music spot in town. It is a hole in the wall and my favorite local bar. It is not a good place to go watch football though. If you're looking for TVs, do not go to Daves.

Teach the Moo staters to play salty cracker. They are fast learners and will take to that one naturally.

UGA/OM
UF/Missouri
MSU/TAMU
Two of the 3 will be at 11, and the other will be at 2:30. As long as TAMU beats Auburn this weekend, I think we have a chance to be in the 2:30 spot.
CBS may opt to go with the winner of the UGA/UF game. I think our game will be the most competitive of that group though. And you will have a 7-1 v 6-2 matchup.

Dave's is a great bar unless you like to party with the fratastic crew...it looks like a hole in the wall but it has great music and good people...I worked there in early 2000...more than welcome to stop by our tailgate by dorman hall...We are very welcoming in Starkvegas...

Collegeview Street > Child Development center
It is an easy walk to the stadium and it is free. If you get there 2-3 hours prior to kickoff, you can find a spot.
LINK /
It is also on the outskirts of campus and you can easily get out after the ballgame. You have immediate access to old 182 and hwy 12 and can be off campus immediately. It is also convenient for those wanting to walk around to Cotton District bars prior to kickoff.

Lot's of bad advice and butt hurt in this thread. Allow me if I may:
Get there a day early if you will, and enjoy Bulldog Bash, Mississippi's largest free outdoor concert.
There are food/beer vendors set up all over the cotton district during this. You can also walk around and drinking during this event.
If you must get there on game day, go to Restaurant Tyler and walk up stairs to Zorbas. They will give you both menus and there are a bunch of tvs to watch the game on. I reccomend the fried chicken topped with crawfish sauce blue plate with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. It's not far from the stadium and shuttles run from there to the game. Anything else feel free to ask
