From this angle it doesn't look as bad as it did on TV.

What was he even upset about to get him and pitching coach tossed

It’s the same ump from the CWS last year that tossed his assistant.

He’s a dickbag

Liked Vitello when he was on DVH's staff. Great recruiter and on field coach. He's seemed to become a bit of a douche though.

He was either always a douche and you didn't care when he was at Arkansas or he was never a douche and you just think that because he is at Tennessee. He didn't all of a sudden become a douche because he took off the Arkansas uniform.

NCAA needs to make an example and give him the harshest penalty within its powers.

Your newly hired football coach literally got a kid killed because he thought another angle of film from football practice was worth more than that kids life. What did you want to happen in that situation? The harshest within its powers, right?

Their brand of ball isn’t sustainable at any level in baseball.

How can you downvote this?! Must be a UT idiot. This is true. Vitello is the biggest arse college baseball coach I’ve ever seen. And I’m old.

Yeah, EXACTLY the same circumstances.

I suspect Vitello got a suspension coming. But Frank Anderson was mind blowing. Wonder what he said. We all know Vitello runs hot all the time. Anderson though.

Because it wasn’t. The ump was a pussy and flopped like he was Lebron.

I wouldn't mind if he was fired tomorrow. His actions continue to escalate. What's next?

Some real hate directed toward Tennessee now. I hope that means Vandy is now back in good graces.

By full speed you mean fast walked three steps and bumped him.

I'll allow that. Let's just all admit he's a douche regardless of the uniform he's wearing.

This is probably the answer.

However, who cares. Let's all stop kidding ourselves. We're not hiring coaches to be Sunday School teachers. We all want coaches that win. Tony V will probably get a bigger punishment than Juwan Howard got for actually punching an opposing coach.

I would bet that even his friends would tell you he has douche tendencies.

But he’s damn good at what he does.

This is true.

The only problem I have with what Tony did was that he didn’t actually hurt the ump.

If he is your coach you love him and if he isn't you hate him. Tons of successful coaches are like that. But we can all admit he wins.
