As things sit currently and seeing who these teams finish up with...this would be my prediction

NATIONAL SEED(host Supers)
Vanderbilt: Finish 25-4 SEC
LSU: Finish 24-6 SEC

HOSTS
Arkansas: Finish 20-9
South Carolina: Finish 18-11

I think the top 4 teams in the league host this year, with State having a shot but they need to get to 18 conference wins and win a series against a strong opponent(South Carolina).

Update: State may very well be on the outside looking in. May need a sweep of Carolina. Lost 6 of their last 10 series.

Need to sweep UGA & beat State 2/3 to lock it up for sure. But that LSU series win helped our cause big time 2 weeks ago.

Even though Arkansas has the better conference record, State has a much better RPI.

If both teams keep winning, there will be a regional in Starkville, not in Fayetteville.

Agreed.. Cocks are not going to make it past MSU!

We will host!

Cocks can take 2-3 from us, and we still host if we take care of OM.

If we go 3-3 in our last two SEC series and beat Oral Roberts, that puts us at 40-16 heading into the tourney. With 40 wins and with our RPI, I don't see how we wouldn't host.

If we finish 3-3 these next 2 weekends, then we will host.

I agree. That's why I said we can drop 2-3 to SC if we take care of OM.

Don't get caught up in RPI numbers.

State has no marquee series win this season so far in conference season. None. 13-11 right now in conference play, and going into series you can easily lose with Ole Miss and Carolina to end the season.

High RPI or not, State has disappointed so far in SEC play.

If Arky gets to 20 wins in conference, it will be hard to deny them a regional bid. 20 wins in the SEC is usually good enough to with the conference outright.

National Seed Locks:
Vandy/LSU

Regionals:
SC - lock IMO
Miss St - Needs to go 4-2 last 6 conference games to host
Arky - probably a lock will need to go 5-1 next 6 conference games. No reason they can't either with that cupcake schedule. Bad losses could hurt them hosting. I would be a pissed off host if I saw Arky in my regional.

I know this has been a running joke and Arkansas fans will probably take this as a flame, but whoever put together your OOC schedule really dicked y'all. There is no excuse for having an SOS of 62 when you play in the SEC.

If it was based solely on the eye test, Arkansas should get a host before Miss St., but the selection committee loves RPI and SOS.
