Honestly, I think Ole Miss is the most overrated school when it comes to girls AND tailgating.
First, there seems to be this myth that every girl that goes to Ole Miss is a bombshell, and that is not at all true. There are plenty of hot girls at Ole Miss, but the ratio is not significantly higher than at any other SEC school I've seen.
Secondly, tailgating at "The Grove" is no different than, say, tailgating on the quad at 'Bama. If we combined all of the tents on the quad in an area the size of "The Grove," we'd have EXACTLY the same thing: a clusterfrick of tents. How this equates to unparalleled tailgating is beyond me. I guess the idea has just ingrained itself in people's minds after years of Ole Miss fans telling us "we may lose the game, but we never lose a party." Those are the kind of statements you just concede to people because most fans care more about the game, so I guess people just started accepting it.

from an academic perspective its below average minus maybe their motion picture program and a degree in hospitality. They also have a decent sports management program. Outside of that LSU is better and thats not saying much.

I respectively disagree. First Ole Miss is a small sec school combined with the fact that majority of the girls are hot. Do they have some fatties sure, but they have some smoking hot chicks that go there.
Tailgating I agree, its the most overrated in the conference. I have much better times in T town.
