Let's reassemble here in January and see how badly this aged. Easy to talk when you aren't on our schedule and can't face a replay what happened in Death Valley last year - unless it's in Atlanta.

dude yall need to get off this schtick. in Heupel's first season yall lost 41-17 at home to UGA and to FRICKING UNRANKED PITT. if last year was LSU's floor, you might need to get a therapist, because it's only gonna get worse for your mental health.

UT's defense was pretty bad at points all season. Florida went for 594 yards. Bama for 569. SC for 606. Clemson for 484. They were 91st in the nation in total defense giving up over 400 yards per game on average. They were particularly bad against the pass (127 out of 131 in passing yards allowed per game)
I don't think any particular excuses work for the defense playing poorly against SC. UT's defense just wasnt' good last year. They had to outscore a lot of teams to get their wins.
