What Kind of Game is Saban Playing?

9/8/16: Saban on Blake Barnett and Jalen Hurts: "I think it's important that both these guys continue to play."
I'd guess as long as Bammer is favored in a game or games, Saban will keep the QB rotation going so the other teams (read UT) won't know who to prepare for.

Yep...all of this is one gigantic ploy to keep Tennessee confused and unprepared for a game that is still over a month away.

He's got a true freshman and a redshirt freshman. They have a combined total of just over 3 quarters of playing time.
Everybody thinks it's important that both of them continue to play. One (I'm thinking Hurts, probably) will become the clear cut starter soon enough. The other will gain valuable playing time and experience.

Did anyone see the ESPN show yesterday where they did the flash poll of "Which SEC team is in the most trouble?"
46% of the respondents picked my alma mater.
The talking heads were shaking their heads over it. Surely LSU and Ms. State have bigger challenges than the Vols?
They didn't account for the depth of the jealousy a lot of people have for UT.
