My brain is relieved to finally know. I always figured it was some kind of cryptic message.

Great thread. I want to visit all the campuses now, but especially had no idea how nice Starkvegas is. My experience in Mississippi is sadly limited to Jackson, Vicksburg, and highways.

Yep. Pretty cool fact about Athens. I actually haven't been there in 3 years but I bought a coupon last weekend for $20 of food for $9 so I'll go soon when I can't take studying anymore and need comfort food.

Also, one of the best music venues in the South:

The Prez Mansion is in the middle of campus, across the street from Denny Chimes. In walking distance of the fraternity houses, but not exactly in the same area as them either. The fraternity house with the spiral staircase you're thinkin of is the phi gam house, I believe LINK

Vicksburg actually has some nice areas. On par with Natchez historically speaking. And StarkVegas is shite tons better than when I went to school there in the early 90's. I am actually jealous of how much nicer it is.

The Dawgzillatron has to count as a landmark, right

Lots of great historic landmarks. Thanks for showing the best of what your campus and off campus has to offer. one day I'll get around to seeing some of them.

Statue of Beetle Bailey, whose creator Mort Walker went to Mizzou. This statue marks the place where an old diner once existing on campus - it's now the Alumni Center. Mizzou's entire campus is designated as a Botanical Garden.

The #1 student recreation center in the country, according to Sports Ilustrated. Here's a shot of the outdoor pool...

And part of the indoor water park, with a lazy river, waterfall, and hot tub for you and 40+ friends....

And the Olympic-size pool/diving area...

Best place in town for live music...

One of about four structures on campus that the Yankees didn't burn down. The lovely Presidents mansion..

I think there were only two, the President's mansion and the guardhouse by the library. The ashes of the burned campus are in little hill behind the library. When I was there that is where all honors inductions were held.
