Seems like a weird time to bring them all out, many of them in waiting since 2008. Wait for a big Tennessee moment to expose them all. Maybe they feel that will never happen?

I never really understood the concept of having "alt handles". Is it for kids just to troll other fan bases with or what? It seems odd to me.

These days it's so easy to get by a simple IP check with VPNs and proxies. Back in the day an IP ban was a strong weapon to deter alters but these days it's not going to stop anyone.

Could be wrong, but I believe they also use other methods here, like user agents, screen resolution, etc.
Having one of those fingerprints identical with another user is not unusual—having most of them makes you more likely to get spotted.

I can spot Texas alters pretty easily because they're the same handful of sad nutsacks posting the same tired shite they've posted on every Aggie board for the last 20 years.
I imagine yall fans of other teams can spot alters the same way. Do the rest of y'all have as many alts following you around as we Ags do? If so, that's gotta be a significant percentage of the board's traffic.
