What is the record for most consecutive loses to ranked teams

in the SEC? The thread about UT on a 19 game losing streak had me thinking.

When you type that question in on Google the first thing that pops up is the Wiki page for Ole Miss

It would, by sheer nature, have to be held by Vandy ... "the record" that is, would have to be held by Vandy for most consecutive losses to ranked teams.

I feel sure it would probably be some astronomical number.

Not for me - Google has no answer to that query, so it's cobbling together based on browsing habits and keywords.

I.E. - You must be Ole Miss obsessed.
