Some of the 1980s Cotton Bowls were great.

Stopping Bo Jackson on the goal line while beating Auburn was a cool memory. It was OOC then.



Beating Notre Dame with Heisman Winner Tim Brown was also a cool memory.

I also enjoyed the 1990 BYU Holiday win . . it was not a major game but Ty Detmer had just won the Heisman and Lavell Edwards was moaning in the media about how they deserved a more competitive opponent.

We ended up winning 65-14 and Detmer got knocked out of the game.

LSU destroying Brady Quinn and Notre Dame in the 2006 Sugar Bowl. That was an awesome beatdown!

They are playing the 86 Cotton Bowl on the SEC Network. Auburn ran a pretty one dimensional offense!
