bullshite. You are asked if you are racist.

State has a great veterinary program, one of the top in the south. Also has one of the top turf grass management programs. Engineering is very good as well.

I always remember Emory Bellard. That guy owned us in the early 80s. He beat us five straight, even when the Bulldogs weren't that good and LSU was going to the Orange Bowl. We could NOT stop the wishbone. COULD NOT DO IT.

Interesting fact about Bellard. He actually played for Coach Dana X. Bible at UT.

I know this will be the general smartass answer, but you couldn't be more off base.
State and Ole Miss(and I think this is a bad thing) have far fewer "sidewalk" fans than most of the other SEC schools. Most that attend MSU games actually attended the University, which puts them a little higher on the socioeconomic scale than your average sidewalk fan.
I know people like to throw around the Mississippi redneck generalization, but most in Mississippi who never attended a college are actually Bama or LSU fans.
I've been to every SEC stadium for a game and can assure you that MSU and Ole Miss rank near the bottom in the fans that wear camo category.

I would think on a national level when people think of Ole Miss they think of your Law School, the Mannings (not the awesomely talented one, but the other ones), and Colonel Reb.

It depends on who you talk to. On a national level, we're not really known for much, kinda like ole miss, which is why people get us mixed up.

Anyway we're known for meteorology, green vehicle technology, turf management, professional golf management, veterinary medicine, Dudy Noble Field, bad arse cheese, and the SEC Jumbotron Championship.

It seems like they would pay more attention to the bars closing at 12 and hot beer and no beer on sundays. I guess when you have to deal with all of that, you are forced to have some pretty kick arse house parties.

They are known for being the only school in Mississippi to play for the SEC title in football, win the SEC and make a Final Four in basketball, and win the SEC (lost tiebreak to LSU in 2009) and make it to Omaha in the last 35 years.

I understand the desire to be a "ranked" party school. The Bears are rarely ranked in anything else.

I'm of the opinion that you cannot quantify "partying", and that there are much bigger "party schools" in the SEC than Ole Miss.

apparently you and I have a different definition of intelligence.

why stop at 35 years was my point. why don't you go back to the 50s and 60s at that point? oh yeah, because Ole Miss won a national title then. to put it nicely Corch, you're a dolt.

I stand by my statement that it's good cheese.

It seems like Ole Miss has just accepted the fact that Mississippi State is superior on the football field anyways...
