No 1 big group conference scheduling.
Divisions or pods are needed to help easily break ties & creates more common opponents.

The Florida Tennessee game, coined “Third Saturday of September”, to actually be played on the third Saturday of September

Tennessee and Florida have played 54 times of those times:

Overall:
September - 29
October - 15
November - 4
December - 6

Pre-1992 Divisions:
September - 0
October - 13
November - 4
December - 4

For those of us who remember the conference before divisions...UT/UF doesn't matter when it is played.

Florida-Auburn needs to be on the rotation FAR more often then it is. Went from one of our oldest annual rivals to barely seeing each other.
it's the worst thing B'ham ever did - after 2002 - when the 5-2-1 format went to 5-1-2 -

84 games all-time and 80 were played through the 2002 season - only 4 since - series was played every year from 1927-2002 except for 2 interrupted seasons with WWII -

Florida v Auburn needs to be played yearly -

--------------------------------------------------

South Carolina v Georgia should return to the 2nd game of each season - along with Florida v Tennessee -

I miss the old end of the season run for Tennessee:

Ole Miss
Kentucky
Vandy

Between 1956 and 1991, that was how the season always ended.
