20 years? He's already almost 60. I don't see him staying in it as long as Bobby or Paterno, but I think he has a solid 8-10 years left then he will call it a career.

Saban will not leave Alabama at this point. There was one time when he may have left Alabama and that is if Miles would have gone to Michigan. I think he may have left us for LSU at that time but I think he is ours at this point.
I think you are right but you never know with Saban. There is no way of knowing if he likes getting as big of a paycheck as he can or if he still wants to prove that he can win in college and the NFL

Weak Flame Attempt...

Not a flame attempt. I think many people believe his ego is so big that he wants to move from challenge to challenge.
I could see the NFL haunting him some, but I don't think anyone gives him the chance. He burned that bridge down. Then he rented a backhoe, dug a huge hole and buried the bridge.

I heard Jerry Jones was gonna go after Saban after he cans Wade Phillips
That wou;d be wise based on his success in the NFL and any place he coached beyond LSU.

are you people from alabama really kidding...if you think that your very poor state has the kind of money that notre dame has, you are sadly mistaken..there is no comparison the amount of money that nd can put up compared to bama....if saban wins a nc this year you should be very concerned about his next move...

No way he is ever going to back to the NFL. But, I would never rule out the chance that he would leave for another college.

He would be a fool to leave Bama but for some reason, the lure of ND and all the tradition can get to a coach-especially one with an ego. But at this point, I think Weiss has saved his job for another year...they are playing better and the talent gap has closed quite a bit. Unless they just flop the rest of the year-there won't be a change at ND. And if there was to be-I would think Gruden or Tubbs would be high on that list!!!

I heard he's building something at Bama and has no reason to leave. Your jealousy is really embarrassing.
