No way they beat UF and Bama and only win 4 other games the whole year.

IF UT went 2-10 Kiffy would be safe if those 2 wins were Bama & UF.

Yes they both have a major depth issue.

They have major coaching issues more than anything. You can have all the talent in the world, but without a decent coach you'll only get so far. And both Auburn and UT hired coaches who did not fair too well in their only head coaching experiences.

It would make the whole conference look bad and probably keep an SEC team out of the national title game.

Don't let logic get in the way of a thread like this.

I just don't buy into using Kiffin and Chizik's previous coaching experience as a way to accurately judge them. For one you can't go by what Kiffin did in the NFL (i.e. Spurrier, Saban) and I don't believe you can get any kind of idea of a coach based on what he did at Iowa St. in 2 years. No one has ever won many games at Iowa St.

It will be interesting to see if Kiffikins can formulate a game plan. Lord knows he won't get any help in that department from Ogreon.

I wonder...how would all the FL & Bamma fans feel if TN played them very close this year? Sorta like the SECCG last year were it is anybody's game until the last 2-3 possesions, and the difference is that one team just happens to have the better athletes THIS year. Does that change anyone's opinion of Kiffin?

I think only 2 people answered the question. Yes, if UT goes 6-6 with wins over UF and UA, he will be somewhat vindicated. Alot of gumps and jorts will have egg on their face, and I've got to think the Vol nation would be moderately satisfied.

We don't need to worry about this happening.

Tennessee will be lucky to win 5 games this year in my opinion. I think they will be terrible again this year.
