True, but Lane was looking to GTFO. He sent his family to Gainesville and BR on the same weekend to look at houses.

Family doesn't get sent anywhere if they intend to stay.

Doesn't like cold weather and Auburn is a terrible fit culturally.

If LSU never comes open who knows tho.

maybe he goes somewhere else but he was never coming to Florida, especially with Scott Stricklin there

They are what they have been historically. The run they had with Spurrier was not typical of their history. It took them 60 years to win the SEC.
