Part of winning the Heisman is playing time of which Tua missed out on with his injuries.
He gave it the "old college try" and ended up getting severely injured.
Barring any injuries, Tua would have pressed Beaurreaux for the Heisman and Jeaux would have pushed Tua. It would have been something to see. One for the ages! Alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Hornug is one of the all time great personalities of sports legends. He truly was a fantastic athlete. He is also one of four players to be suspended by the NFL for gambling on games.
