Yeah he did play pretty well and he's an incredible athlete but I was just pointing out that he never before or since played like he did in the OU-Bama game. But he did throw some long and pretty dimes in the Auburn game. He's very talented but he played like Elway in that other game and that's just not who he really is.

Ags need to get bigger on D and we have to get bigger faster LBs.

I hate to break it to you, but Chavis isn't about big LBs. He tends to take Safties and move them to OLB, all the way back to his time a UT. LSU has been steadily trying to beef up in the middle since he left.

Yes he was on fire that game much like Garcia against Bama in 2010. That game was an outlier in how he normally throws. I actually thought he threw decent Saturday. He just didn't have much time most throws. His TD passes were actually damn good throws.

can people not understand this? ... he was never a great qb ... he had a great game against bama in the sugar bowl ... some average qbs have great games, esp at places with a lot of talent ... it happens ... the defense has changed a bit, but not enough to allow him to go from an all-american passing performance to a pedestrian one ... he made some very bad throws sat with a few ones that went for big plays ...

Could you send me one? I will wear it to work and my employer might build me my own private bathroom since most AtM fans are part of the LGBT community.

He Stephen Garcia'd us. We also didn't handle that auburn defeat either.

We were literally a second away from our 3rd straight title and we never mentally recovered but knight, and that whole sooner team, played way over their heads that night.
