What exactly happened with Xavier Atkins, the best LB in the SEC, at LSU?

I'm assuming he was buried on the depth chart and young, which makes sense. Maybe wanted a fresh start somewhere else. Maybe Auburn offered a little more through NIL. I'm not sure.
