About as much as you can get with the defense they had.

So 7 points in an overtime game is an embarrassing loss? Who knew.

The last play was pathetic. No way to defend it.

A 9-4 record. Wait, you are talking about 2013 A&M, right?

Kelly doing incredible things at LSU, truly amazing.

The LSU defense last year was one of the worst since the sport was invented.

Have been telling everyone who will listen that Kelly is about to get exposed big time starting this season.

Any decent coach would have won 10 games at least last year with his roster regular season.

Brian Kelly is going to start losing big time at LSU and this is your final warning. Will bookmark this thread next season.
Meh... it's possible, but nothing in his history indicates Kelly is going to crater. Really up until he came to LSU, the knock was that he would win the games he should, and be very consistent in doing so, but would lose against teams above his tier.

The last 2 Alabama games (a win, and a competitive game in Tuscaloosa) seem to indicate he can win some games above his tier, while the losses at A&M and Ole Miss fall more into losing games he should win.

I do think the defense skewed things significantly this past season. If LSU had fielded a "normal" LSU defense, just something typical of the past couple decades, LSU would have been a playoff contender, and possibly wins the title. It's odd that defense would be the Achilles Heel of an LSU team, and it's something we're all watching going forward. If he fixes that (which history shows should NOT be hard to do), I think Kelly will have a fantastic run, comparable to the best years under Miles.

For those who want to bash Kelly, I think there's little doubt he's better than Orgeron or Miles, and both won titles. Miles kept the program elite for a long time, I would think Kelly can restore that.

1. I was talking to a Tennessee fan about Heupel.

2. That's the best win of BK's entire career and it wasn't a major bowl game and it wasn't even one of the better Alabama teams.

You are a retarded gump. Heupel will show everyone this year why he's much better than BK.

BK only won reg season 9 games with three first rounders and a heisman winner on its roster.

Tennessee will win 11 plus games this year while BK and LSU might be lucky to squeeze out 6 or 7 wins tops looking at their schedule.

Well, I don't really think your credentials as a fortuneteller are legit, so for now all we have to go by is what they've actually done.

And based on that, BK > Heupel. BK might not win the big games, but he at least makes it to them every now and then.

BK hasn't done shite.

Winning in the SEC is much different than winning at division two, Central Michigan, Cincinnati and Notre Dame.

If he was anywhere near Heupel's level he would have won 11 games last year and won the west.

Bama was not very strong last year in fact. Joe Milton for us even jumped up 21-0 early on against them.

Brian Kelly massively underachieved this past football season there.
