The production of ABC is 4th behind the other networks.

I like the triple headers and the flex schedule.

But damn ABC sucks compared to the other networks at game production.

Camera quality weak, replays weak, etc etc

all of this

two things that could immediately improve the SEC on ABC - get rid of the damn advertising/ticker bar across the entire bottom of the screen in favor of a more subtle smaller score for the game only -

and more impressively put Fowler & Herbert into the pale yellow ABC Sports jackets for the night game - reboot ABC Sports brand and elevate the profile -

I’m old enough where I watched non HD games so the production quality variance (I don’t see much of a difference) isn’t there.

I love the triple headers. They have made sense

The premier game getting a night slot is terrific. I’m not sure if more eyes are on that game vs years past due to the time slot alone but, for me, it seems like everyone is watching that game and no splitting time with other games.

Sankey had better be playing chess than checkers- the league took on two teams without a bump in payout. Hopefully he will have them bent over a barrel in the next round of negotiations.

I don’t miss CBS so much as I thought that I would.

ABC / ESPN has been excellent.

As long as we get Kirk and Chris for our prime time matchups I’m good. I kinda wish we had Brad Nessler for the 3:30 games though.

No Gary Danielson, so that’s a massive addition By subtraction.

Well the viewer numbers have been bonkers- much higher than SEC numbers last year, and CBS is way down. Partly because their B1G games suck, and partly because the 2nd tier SEC game at 3:30/2:30 is cutting in.

That’s exactly what you need for your next media deal.
