Still looks like they are leaning towards hosting

i mean, are you just trolling now? it would be insane to host a major college football game while this is going on.

you cannot be serious.

I can tell you rt now , if BR is the location a lot of people will be upset bc it will involve reduced attendance due to the delay in the SC decision.

Some of you seem to be dumbest kids in your class.

Williams-Brice Stadium field withstood more than a foot of rain from the weekend storms and is in good condition for players to use. There were some small puddling of water in a couple of areas, but nothing that would prevent people from attending if the game remains on track to be played in town.

"We've been spared," Tanner said. "We're in pretty good shape as far as that goes."

great but it's not about the stadium. you're not looking at bigger picture. believe me, a LOT of LSU fans in 2005 didn't see big picture either and bitched when the game was moved to tempe.

Honestly , the cause of the disaster is irrelevant. We have been through this so many times in the last 10 years that all of our local and statewide EP folks and decision makers know the drill

the AD is saying he hopes y'all can host but doesn't know if that's possible. i really don't know how you can take what he said and think that he's saying there's likely nothing to worry about

I think we'll know something tomorrow. Probably a leak sometime tonight. You have to coordinate new ticket orders, parking, staffing, law enforcement, medical, food and beverage, ice, etc. Especially broadcasting trucks and equipment.

your AD is not going to tell everyone what's going on until it's time. him and skip are close from what I gather and skip was the AD in 2005 for LSU. I'm sure they've talked already about the best thing to do.

Who the frick said that?!

Are you guys just making shite up? THE PLAN IS TO HOST. That doesn't mean it will happen, that doesn't mean it won't happen. They're simply reaching out. It's just as ridiculous for us to say that definitely means we will host as it is for LSU fans to say no way that we host.

This is what I heard on 104.5 earlier, though not confirmed. Must be the radio hosts using their superpowers they got from Katrina, eh Cockapotomus?

no, but we've been through a very similar situation when it comes to moving a football games due to mother nature.

right, moving a football game due to a natural disaster in the area where emergency workers are spread thin and resources are limited.

not similar at all.
