Possible. Or maybe we prepare for Tua and he doesn't run wild on us. It's hard to say. Impossible, really. You can't just make blanket statements like that because nobody really knows. You can go by feelings, but Auburn "felt" like they were going to walk away with the SECCG. There are way too many threads and posts before the game to deny it.

I just can't take UGA posters seriously. There are kids who attend UGA whose parents aren't even old enough to have seen UGA win a national title

We may have been better in some areas, but we did not have a better team.
Better team doesn't mean best recruiting team. You can have more seasoned 3 stars playing aginst 4 and 5 star rookies and have a better team. You can have a system that gives the 4 and 5 stars trouble and have a better team. You can have more player producing on both sides of the ball and have a better team. The word team the key, not just what ESPN tells you.

Grew up in Marietta and my base of friends are UGA fans. I have about 2 bama fans who went to Auburn so they arent annoying. Why is this so difficult for you to understand?

More often than not it does. I mean, let's look at it seriously. Alabama has won the #1 recruiting class for 7 years running and they have won 4 National Championships in that time. Do you honestly believe it is a coincidence?
Can a team beat them? Sure. but it isn't because they have more talent!

In a vaccuum? yes. In the long term? No. But Georgia did not have some "system" that befuddled Alabama.

Went to HS in metro ATL as well with several classmates
that attended AU and have also worked with several AU grads.Sorry,can't think of one that would pull for Bama under any circumstances.Believe me,they weren't cheering for UGA either...most just didn't GAS either way.

Look man, I am not pretending to speak for all Auburn fans. Trust me there are Auburn friends that say the same thing about caring about UA more.
For me personally as a fan, the DSOR means more to me. As far as football meaning goes, IB wins out.
Picking between the Miracle in Jordan Hare and Kick Six, I would pick K6 for the rest of my life.
Sports are weird, both are great rivalries, some games mean more personally to each individual fan.
So yes I wanted UGA to lose.

I never even implied such a ridiculous post. Losing a one score game against the defending champs which has just as much talent as Auburn did isn't choking no matter how you try to spin it. There was no opportunity to choke as our offense proved they couldn’t handle their defense all night long

Lol we had a new QB and they had a stout defense. I thought we could have won the game ( based on preseason hype alone) but losing by one score or more was just as imaginable.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. We didnt deserve to make the playoffs after losing against Clemson, LSU and Georgia. It’s also unfair if not absurd to judge Auburn’s final product from their weak two performance as well.
