We've got the money, the facilities, and the primo location for any coach to make himself a legend. Sumlin is just now getting his recruiting train at top-efficiency, I don't see him leaving any time soon.

Ditto. And...
No. I actually liked Mike Sherman, and wish him luck in Miami. But he had no idea how to coach a college team. Snake Eyes Sumlin definitely gets it and does it. Best A&M coach since... well... ever.

We REALLY need to not have a letdown down the stretch either. A loss to Mizzou (or God forbid Sam) would kill a lot of the positive momentum.
Particularly considering Texas actually isn't having a bad year. They beat KSU and they could actually be a potential BCS at large team.
Which is shocking considering how terrible they looked during the middle of the season.

Its really been liberating not to have to think about Texas or anyone in the Big 12.
We just need to take care of our own business and business will take car of itself.
The Big 12 (10) is a nice little league as far as that goes.
